How do I get my transcript?
Former graduates and retirees can obtain a copy of their transcript of marks if they have lost their original. You will need to provide identification such as a driver’s license, health card, or birth certificate when making the request. Please allow up to a week for processing, depending on demand.

If you have completed high school within the past year, please contact your high school for a copy of your transcript. Marks are not filed centrally until one year after you leave the system. For school contact information, please view our Schools Listings.

You have the option of ordering your transcript in person or downloading the form and mailing it in to request your transcript.
How do I get my transcript in person?
To order transcripts from our Student Records Department which is located at the Education Centre, 100 Main Street West (corner of Main and Bay Streets).
Apply in person at the Assessment Centre on the first floor and complete the School Transcript Request, Authorization and Consent. Office Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Holiday and Summer hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Will I be charged a fee for my transcript?
There is a $20 non-refundable fee for a student transcript that must be paid prior to processing. There is also a $5 fee for each additional copy if requested at the same time.
Payment can be made with cash, cheque or money order, payable to The Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board. A receipt will be provided.
When will I get my transcript?
Transcripts will be forwarded by mail or can be picked up. It takes approximately one week to process your transcript.

You can download, print and complete the Transcript Request Form and mail it to the Assessment Centre for processing.

Note:
The Transcript Request Form cannot be sent via e-mail, as a signature and payment are required.
If you live outside the Hamilton area and cannot come in to the Education Centre to pick up your transcripts, a faxed request would be accepted if payment can be made at the Board Office through a relative or a friend in the Hamilton area.
